There are many resources available to make use of when entering into the study of God's word. Some are good and others are bad. On this page, I have listed resources which I have enjoyed and which I believe fall into the "good" category. Not everything list here is strictly for study purposes. Some of these resources are just content that I find influential and enjoy listening to.

This is a great software tool to aid in Bible Study. Much of the content within it is completely free to use, with paid add-ons available as well. The interface is not the most attractive, but in terms of functionality, this program has a lot to offer!
I am new to theWord and have not yet become proficient with it, but my favorite feature so far is the advanced search functionality. It is possible to perform searches for words or phrases that are found near other words or phrases and it can include boolean logic operators in searches (And, Or, etc.).

Bible Hub is one of my favorite Bible study aids. It is web-based platform with a huge number of Bible study resources available. There are a number of features that I find to be very useful: verse-by-verse paralleling with over 30 translations, access to a number of different commentaries, interlinear resources, and it's all hyperlinked together extremely well in a manner that makes it easy and intuitive to jump from resource to resource.

Mike Winger is one of my top favorite content creators to follow on YouTube. His ministry seeks to encourage people to think in a biblical manner and to learn how to properly understand the Bible as they read it. He has videos covering a wide variety of topics available on on his website, biblethinker.org, and on his YouTube channel.
As far as presentation style goes, Mike Winger's content is primarily targeted at the viewer, with him addressing the camera, but there are some videos available of him preaching in his church as well. Mike also has an album of original worship music available on Bandcamp which I recommend!
Tim Conway is a pastor and missionary that I enjoy listening to primarily through the I'll Be Honest YouTube channel. His sending church is Grace Community Church in San Antonio, Texas, and his missions church is in Manchester, England. I have found Tim's messages to be an edifying source of Biblical teaching to listen to.
Most of the content for Tim Conway is video recordings of his preached messages or of Bible Studies which are usually set more casually in a living room. Often, the Bible Studies are topic-focused around a question that was sent in.
The I'll Be Honest YouTube channel has other speakers from Grace Community Church as well. I have listened to a few of these others. I believe the channel is a generally good resource and I recommend it, but my greatest familiarity is with Tim Conway's content.
I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a solid, but simple and practical outlook on how to approach good Bible study practices. Josh McDowell uses easy to understand language, and presents a straightforward, thorough approach to Bible study of "see it, know it, do it." Part of the book's approach includes exercises for the reader to perform at the end of each chapter, which are intended to help develop the Bible Study practices that the reader is learning.
